At Total Trade Constructions, we hold a steadfast commitment to Social Responsibility, viewing it as an integral duty of business ownership to positively influence and uplift society whenever possible. We believe that businesses bear a responsibility to contribute to the betterment of communities and the environment. This ethos is not just a principle, but a core value that guides our daily actions through three main pillars.

Corporate Philanthropy

We actively seek opportunities no matter how big or small to donate our money or resources to charitable organisations, fundraising events, and community projects.

We are extremely proud of especially of our work for the Miles for Smiles Campaign and 1100 4 MND Charity walk.

We are fortunate enough to have an extensive network of supplies and sub-contractors and other businesses that continually support us in all our fundraising endeavours.

Environmental Sustainability

Participating in the construction industry it is paramount to minimize our environmental footprint and continually look to find new ways in which we can achieve this.

Some initiatives we implement:

Careful selection in suppliers who have strong environmental suitability programs in place which includes:

    • Carbon neutral programs
    • Third party certification on materials
    • On shore manufacturing where possible
    • Eco Products
    • Greenstar ratings
    • Sustainably sourced
    • Recycle all scrap material and aluminium into designated bins.
    • Re-use material where possible
    • Reduce paper usage using a range of technologies and web-based applications.
    • Energy Efficient upgrades – Upgrades have begun to implement solar powered energy to our factory/offices.

Community Engagement

We look to engage, interact, and collaborate with individuals, groups, clubs and organisations in the wider community where we believe we can have a positive impact.

We are currently supporting, sponsoring, or are involved with the following.

  • Support and Sponsor the North Ringwood Football Club.
  • AGA Australia – Assisting people into the work force.
  • Player sponsor any TTC employee that participates in local sport.
  • Sponsor athletes in competitive running.
  • Regularly take on work experience individuals to give them an understanding of the construction industry.
  • Take on VCAL students as part of their school programs.
